The Southborough Youth Basketball Association (SYBA) is organized to provide an enjoyable experience for all youth participants in its basketball programs. SYBA's goals are as follows:
**To promote and sponsor organized, recreational basketball programs for all youth in the Town of Southborough;
**To teach the fundamentals of basketball to Southborough youth;
**To teach and promote the ideals of good sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork at all levels of the game of youth basketball; and
**To provide a full, equal and fair opportunity for all youth in the Town of Southborough to participate in organized, recreational basketball.
The program is open to all Southborough residents in Grades 1 through 8.

It takes many people to make our program successful. This includes coaches, gym monitors, grade coordinators and more. We also would like to expand the Board with people wanting to get involved. Please volunteer to help by contacting us. |

Town Basketball Season Begins
Practices start week of November 28. First games are December 3.
There will be no games on December 24 or 31 and no practices during those weeks. The season will end with games on February 18. Check with your team coach or grade coordinator for details that pertain to your children.
Travel basketball games begin December 4. Check the Metrowest Basketball web site for game schedules, rules, directions to gyms, etc. Site address: www.metrowestbball.com.
Uniform Policy
Grades 1-3 will have t-shirts that are included in your registration fee.
Grades 4-8 Only incoming 4th graders will be required to purchase a uniform. Others can reuse their existing uniform or purchase a new one if they need a different size.
Please be sure to check your child's uniform fit before registration. To purchase a replacement uniform, you must indicate your needs during the registration process and pay the uniform fee. SYBA cannot guarantee size availability to those who fail to order a uniform during registration.
